Hello everyone! Welcome to Nox Reads, I’m Nox, and today’s post is why I love Agatha Christie’s books so much!
Agatha Christie is definitely the queen of mystery! Why else would her books have millions of sales, only being outsold by the Bible and Shakespeare? If you’re hesitant about picking up some of her books, here are some reasons to do it!
NUMBER ONE: SHE THINKS OF PLOT POINTS THAT NOBODY ELSE WOULD HAVE!
Want a mystery that feels like the ending came out of nowhere? You’ve come to the right author! I highly recommend following along books like The Murder of Roger Ackroyd and seeing if you can find the killer! Or read The ABC Murders about a serial killer with totally clear motivations that definitely make sense! And don’t worry if you don’t get it – Poirot will make sure to somehow have understood everything the whole time!
NUMBER TWO: SHE’S AN AUTHOR WITH A BUILT-IN MYSTERY!
Nobody knows what happened to Agatha Christie those days that she went missing, but isn’t it cool to have an author who has her own mystery? I’m sure that had nothing to do with how popular she is, her works can definitely stand on their own!
NUMBER THREE: SHE’S A PRODUCT OF HER TIME, JUST LIKE THIS BLOG POST!
I’ve been told before to simply ignore the problematic content of Agatha Christie’s books because “she’s a product of her time.” Silly me! Just like this post, which I’m totally sure people will check the date for, Christie was a product of-
