Nox Quiroz

Hi everyone!

I’m Nox, a 21-year-old college student majoring in English Education. I used to work part-time at my university’s Latinx-based cultural center, and currently as a member of the office staff for Orientation Services, as well as a secretary at my local auto body shop. When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, listening to music, or hanging out with my grandparents and my cats, who I’ll most likely mention often.
I’m often catching up on popular backlist YA books, while also trying to read more diverse literature. My hopes as an aspiring English teacher is to expose my future students to literature that they can connect with, as well as the classics that we all know and love. Books are the way that I connect with the world around me; without them, I’d be lost. I want to give future generations the chance to connect with them too.
